Methuen, Maria Teresa, “Terri” Lally, age 58, formerly of Littleton, Ma, passed away peacefully Sunday July 16, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends after a brief illness.
Terri was born December 21, 1964 in Seattle, Wa. Daughter of the late Felix A. Lally of Mountainside, NJ and Judith (Ellsworth) Lally of Littleton, Ma.
For 22 years Terri called Methuen her home. She moved to Methuen in 2001 to be closer to her sister and her family. Terri lived her life very quietly and privately spending her free time supporting her nephews endeavors. Baseball season was her favorite time of the year and she could often be found in the bleachers cheering Collin on. She never missed an opportunity to listen to Jarrod in concert. Whether it was band, flute choir or Acapella, she found a way to be there. Last but not least, Pacey. Her side kick, little buddy and P Man. They went everywhere together. The 9’s, Target during Halloween and Christmas, the mall searching for Pokémon cards, the list goes on. These three boys brought her profound joy and happiness. They were her everything.
Terri was most recently employed by Target in Salem NH. For 13 years she made the electronic department a special place. Books, movies, cd’s, video games and t.v.’s, if they had it, she knew where it was. She loved helping the guests and had many friends in the collectors that visited the store. Her family at Target were a tremendous support during her final days. She would be grateful.
Terri is survived by her mother, Judith (Ellsworth) Lally, of Littleton, Ma. Her sister Lisa and her husband Patrick and her nephews, Collin, Jarrod and Pacey of Methuen, Ma. Her brother Stephen Lally of Honolulu, Hawaii and her brother Michael, his wife Melanie and their children of E. Greenwich, RI. She will also be remembered fondly by many other family and friends.
As per Terri’s request no funeral or memorial service will be held. Burial will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
