Mat has owned and consulted with several dozen US board shops. One of his most successful achievements was founding Circuit Board Express, which was listed as the 48th hottest new small business in America by Entrepreneur Magazine in June/1996. Mat had a long battle with cancer but eventually did beat it, he refused to quit and had some good years after that, particularly helping his son Mat Jr. start his own circuit board business that is flourishing thanks in large part to his assistance.
