Michael Paul Mills, 36, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, departed this earth on August 25, 2022.
His mom, Claire Aloan of Tully NY, and his big sister, Virginia Mills Helliwell of Arcata CA were blessed to be with him and will cherish our memories of our sweet boy. He is at peace at long last. We know he was greeted with open arms by his awesome dad, the late Roger Lydston Mills. Michael was born in Johnson City NY and grew up in Syracuse NY, graduating from Corcoran HS in 2006. He attended Vermont Technical College where he studied construction management. He relocated to Cavendish VT which became the much-loved home for Mike and his beloved dogs, including Ava, Charlie, Suka, and Bear.
A memorial celebration for Michael will be held on Saturday, September 17 at 2 pm at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 15 Orange St, Marcellus NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Michael may be made to Orenda Springs Experiential Learning Center in Marcellus NY (www.orendasprings.com) or to Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society in West Windsor VT (www.LucyMac.org).
