William Andraktos

February 19, 1954 — January 13, 2025

SALEM, NH- William P. Andraktos, age 70, passed away on Monday, January 13th, 2025, in Methuen, MA at Holy Family Hospital after a period of declining health.

He was the husband and survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Suzanne M. Andraktos of Salem, NH.

He was born in Lowell, MA on February 19, 1954, the son of the late William Andraktos and Goldie (Bloom) Andraktos.

Early in his career, he worked at Wang Labs in Tewksbury, MA as a shipping manager for 17 years. He took those talents to 3M Corp in Methuen, MA for 15 years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at Gentex Corp. in Manchester, NH for several years.

Affectionately known to all as Willie, he had an amazing sense of humor and a magnetic personality. He was a natural born athlete and at the age of 17, achieved the Smoky Joe Wood Award for outstanding pitching in 1972 at Fenway Park in Boston, MA. His passion was for all sports, but his favorite teams were the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Celtics. In addition, he was a lifetime fan of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

He is survived by his two children, Katie Gerrior and husband, Chris, of Bourne, MA, and Ashley Graziano of Salem, NH; his three grandchildren, CJ and Bella Gerrior of Bourne, MA and Romeo Graziano of Salem, NH. He was the brother of Kathy Blackman and husband Doug, Chris Andraktos and wife Mary and Michael Andraktos and wife Laurie. He was the uncle to beloved nieces and nephews.

He loved his family deeply and known to his grandchildren as Papa which always brought a smile. He will live in our hearts forever.

A private family celebration will take place at a later date.
